June 23, 2016 at the Seydoux Foundation (Paris 13th), the 5th edition Orange Young Designers Contest jury awarded 3 prizes of 7,000 euros in three categories. The recipients describe their experience:
• The « Vision » prize was awarded to Diana Robin & Alban Maitenaz, from the Condé School in Bordeaux (formerly known as CRÉASUD), for their “UP TO YOU” project. “A project that is fully based on users’ concerns, a holistic customer space that is not confined to the company’s space and recognises multi-service and multi-operator uses – and that is fun, intuitive, and functional.” This award is intended for students whose concept goes far beyond the borders of our knowledge.
• The “Achievement” prize was awarded to Wladimir de Lantivy & Paul Marchesseau for their “Argile” project. “Argile” is a whole new logic: it creates interactions and a horizontal relationship between a physical location and a digital platform, sublimating the exchanges of ideas focused on shared values to reach “all contributors.”. The “Achievement” prize is for young graduates and shows evidence of being rapidly available for commercial launch.
• The “Design for everyone” prize, was awarded jointly to Thomas Boulongne & Léo Ternoir, from GOBELINS, School of Images (Paris) for their “ARI” project. “This concept highlights the use of text messages which commits the operator to a “friendly,” direct, simple, and universal relationship.”
Also awarded were Célia Lopez & Lei Xing, from GOBELINS, School of Images (Paris), for their project “ORANGE SOCIAL CUSTOMER”, which introduces a fun and cool aspect through the “gamification” of relationships between the community and the operator. This award, which may be attributed to one of the 2 categories, is awarded to students for two concepts considered accessible to as many people as possible.
